We had a very nice Christmas thus year. Christmas Eve was spent upstate, where we got to see Santa's arrival in Woodstock and then had dinner with Juliet's family. Thanks to Chris and Adrian for hosting a great dinner. We returned home late on Christmas eve. I wrapped presents til about 3AM. We woke up and ushered Mia to the tree for the opening of gifts. She got books and a toy and some clothes. All great stuff for her. We did it in phases since Mia naps every two hours or so. And I took a video of everything so we'll have Christmas #1 for posterity.
Later, my mom came over and we had a nice turkey dinner and dessert. We were all very full, including Mia who had her first meat experience via some mashed up turkey bits. We had a long day, stayed in our PJs too late and ate too much sweet stuff but that's half the fun of the holiday season.
