Al Gore's son Al the third was busted yesterday for speeding and possession of a nice cocktail of prescription drugs. Plus he had a little pot on him.
This shouldn't shock anyone during this day and age. Lots of people are zooming around on all kinds of meds. What shocked me was the fact that he was burning down the highway at 100MPH in a Prius!
I was just reading a story yesterday about how Prius owners are thought to be kinder and more socially conscious than people who drive any other kind of car. What BS. It ain't about what you drive. If you speed in a Prius you're using a normal amount of fuel and creating your fair share of fluorocarbon emissions. Plus you might kill someone when you crash the car.
For the record I drive a gasoline driven 2007 Honda Civic EX that gets 40MPG on the highway when driven like a sane human being.
